Abby playing in pool July 2, 2008
Wow, it's been a while since I have posted. Abby has started attempting to walk and I think she might just take off running instead of walking! Her 1st bday is quickly approaching and we are going to go back to Oklahoma for her party at our house. Here is a video taken at the beginning of July at our house in NY. She loves the water!

Abby loves to be under everything. One of her favorite spots is under the table. She has to have help to get out, but she sure doesn't have a problem getting under there.

Abby playing with Isaac
Last week we went over to our friend Caleen & Isaac's house to swim. The kiddos didn't really seem interested in playing in the water so they just crawled around. Here is Abby trying to kiss Isaac. Ha! Well she was at least trying to give him a big hug! Daddy didn't seem to think it was as funny as I did. She is very outgoing with Isaac and I think scares him at times because she is so aggressive. Isaac is just a few days older than Abby.

Abby's 10 month photos
I can't believe it, but Abby is already 10 months old! We went to Sears Studio yesterday to get some professional pictures made since I haven't done that in a while. Of course, I had a hard time deciding on which ones to buy so I bought a package with the photo cd in it. Here are a few.....

Just hanging out
Yesterday was a nice, sunny day so we got out Abby's water table and set up her new pool. She loved it! After her afternoon nap we just set on the deck with the dogs and enjoyed the evening. Abby LOVES her dogs. Here are some pictures!
Strawberry Festival
We had a busy weekend and a lot of fun! Friday night we met our friends, Katie, Erin and Sarah at the Relay for Life. It was a beautiful evening. Katie is a Dr. and works 3 days a week as a family practice physician so we met at her clinics tent. They grilled out and had face painting, snow cones, etc. We almost got ran over several times when we were walking around the track because her 2 year old Erin kept jumping off the double stroller, in between the babies wanting to get out of the strollers. :) It was a great time though. On Saturday we met up with them again at the Strawberry Festival. It is an annual festival in Owego with a parade, lots of booths and unhealthy food! It was fun, a little chaotic with all of the people but the kids napped great that afternoon! We had a couple incidents like dropping our lunch and the getting strawberry juice on us, but we survived! Here are some pics!

Abby walking (with a little assistance from her car)
Abby has been pulling up on her car for a little while now, but tonight she took off pushing it! Here she is after I put it in the walker position from the ride on position. She is getting the hang of it and who knows she might decide to walk on her own tomorrow! She definitely is strong enough and she has good balance, just don't think she knows quite what to do yet. We'll keep you posted!

Just a Swingin'

Greenwood Park
We met our friends at Greenwood Park. It is such a beautiful park that has a lake and swimming area complete with lifeguards and a snack stand....plus plenty of shade and not too crowded! The kids had a wonderful time crawling around and having a picnic. Abby really enjoyed swimming and feeling the sand. This park is just amazingly clean, nothing compared to parks in Oklahoma. It was a great outing and I'm sure we will do it again!

to go through our mail and pay bills but little missy had to help! So needless to say she made a complete mess out of our mail. Who knew paying bills could be so much fun! :)
